Scottsdale Public Art's annual event Canal Convergence returns to the Scottsdale Waterfront for its 6th year of large-scale, interactive art installations by local and international artists, hand-on activities, live music and performances, now over two weekends! With the support of sponsors Salt River Project, the City of Scottsdale, and Billie Jo and Judd Herberger, Scottsdale Public Art brings together international and local artists to create a one-of-a-kind, immersive art event.
During Canal Convergence 2018, visitors will experience four days of large-scale, contemporary public art installations positioned in the Arizona Canal, along its banks, and soaring in the skies above. Featured Installations in this year's event includes:
- Reflection Rising by Poetic Kinetics
- Desert Sun by Jotta Studio
- Barter Boat by RADAR Art: Robin Schwarzman, Anna Abhau, Elliott & Desiree Moore
